The Greg W. Moyer Defibrillator Fund is an organization established in the honor of Greg Moyer, a 15 year old high school student in the Pocono's that tragically lost his life 2000 during half time of a high school basketball game. The fund, THE REASON, you see Automated External Defibrillators in shopping malls, schools, and grocery stores, is because of the awareness spread through this program.
But your help is needed now! House Bill 1097 which is stalled in the PA House Education Committee, needs your help. HB1097 will require high schools to teach CPR to their students. At the time of publishing, 39 other states have already enacted this requirement. We need your help to make Pennsylvania #40; in honor of Greg.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Call your congressman/congresswomen. Tell them you support HB1097! To find your PA Congressman/Congresswoman, click here: http://ow.ly/LkC650jryM3
