Since 1984, Kutztown Area Transport Service has been providing emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services to Berks, Lehigh, Montgomery, Bucks and Schuylkill Counties.

We began providing services to fill a void that the local emergency service provider, Kutztown Lions Club Ambulance was unable to fulfill. In 1987 we acquired the assets of the Lions Club Ambulance and began providing emergency responses to the Kutztown area. In an effort to fill all of the needs of the community we received our Advanced Life Support license in 1997 to become a true full service EMS organization. Since that time, our fleet of only 3 ambulances has grown to over 30 different transportation vehicles; ambulances and wheelchair vans.
